Depression
This Service aims to treat people suffering from mild to moderate anxiety and depression based problems including Generalised Anxiety Disorder (GAD), Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD), health anxiety, Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) and phobias. Service also has an extended service which offers help to people suffering from Long Term Health Conditions (LTHC), which aims to address the disparities in mental health conditions (and knock-on effect on physical health) between the general population and those experiencing long term health conditions. The LTHC offer currently includes chronic-pain (including fibromyalgia), diabetes, respiratory conditions and stroke- however through our core services we can also offer help for anxiety and depression symptoms caused by other LTHCs.
I’m Mark, a qualified, friendly, and down-to-earth counsellor offering warm, confidential support for adults (18+). I help with anxiety, depression, stress, bereavement, low self-esteem, relationships, trauma, PTSD, life changes, and more. My humanistic approach, rooted in Gestalt therapy, focuses on understanding yourself, your emotions, and your relationships, with specialist support available for trauma and PTSD using Rewind Therapy. Sessions are available short or long term, in person in Romsey or Southampton, and online. Afternoon, evening weekday appointments offered. I’m a registered member of the BACP and NCPS, DBS-checked, and committed to ethical, professional practice.

Free workbook written by people who self-harm for people who self-harm (including not eating properly). The book must be requested by the young person and will be sent in a discreet padded envelope with no mention of Battle Scars or self-harm (can be sent to a safer address if preferred).

This service provides talks and tailored menopause and wellbeing awareness training for businesses, community groups, and individuals. The training raises awareness of symptoms, helps reduce stigma, and equips managers and employees with practical tools to support themselves and others. Sessions are interactive, evidence-based, and delivered either face-to-face or online. We also provide supporting toolkits, action plans, and resources to embed ongoing support in the workplace. Includes menopause action plans, health audits, risk assessments, policies and process.
At V.L.A.D. Outreach, we believe that mental health care should be accessible to all, regardless of background or circumstances. We provide compassionate, individually tailored support to each individual’s unique needs. Our services include evidence-based therapies such as person-centred counselling, cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), Gestalt counselling, amongst other BACP approved approaches, alongside peer-mentoring, and psychological assessments and support, all aimed at empowering individuals to manage their mental health and well-being. Everything we provide is free or donation-based, ensuring that cost will never be a barrier to accessing support.
No Limits provides a range of support for under 26s, including advice and wellbeing, mental health and wellbeing, relationships and sexuality, sexual health, family, money, housing and homelessness, special education needs, crime and violence and drugs and alcohol support (DASH).

Reassurance you are not alone, an opportunity to talk about what’s going on for you with a peer support worker. Please bear in mind this is not a crisis service or a helpline. Calls take place 1-5 working days following referral.

The Mindful Zen delivers mindfulness classes, courses, workshops and retreats to promote balance and inner peace. Our fully qualified Mindfulness Teacher will support you through simple guided meditations, whilst sharing the scientific benefits of mindfulness. Sessions are available online or in person. No previous experience in mindfulness required.
We specialise in Narcissistic Abuse & Domestic Abuse. But can support clients with a range of different adverse experiences, including Racism, Discrimination, Childhood trauma, and so on. Support includes joining up to our online platform, via Facebook, where clients are in a safe and welcoming space, to share their experiences, ask for help and support, post anything that may help them, or other group members, manoeuvre the complexities of recovering from abusive situations. We also provide 1-1 mentoring, peer to peer support, navigation and signposting. As well as more practical support eg reporting to police, managing the complexities of Court processes, benefits support, employment support and so on. Often, it's as simple as just listening to someone, providing a sounding board, showing some care and compassion, to validate the horrific experiences people have been through.
