This Service aims to treat people suffering from mild to moderate anxiety and depression based problems including Generalised Anxiety Disorder (GAD), Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD), health anxiety, Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) and phobias. Service also has an extended service which offers help to people suffering from Long Term Health Conditions (LTHC), which aims to address the disparities in mental health conditions (and knock-on effect on physical health) between the general population and those experiencing long term health conditions. The LTHC offer currently includes chronic-pain (including fibromyalgia), diabetes, respiratory conditions and stroke- however through our core services we can also offer help for anxiety and depression symptoms caused by other LTHCs.
16-25 Mental Health Collective is a brand new service for young people aged 16-25 with mental health needs and their par-ents/carers in getting support for the transitions which happen in their lives, such as: • leaving school • starting college or higher education • Leaving care • housing • benefits • social care • living independently • finding a job • EHCPs • Health • Finances • mental capacity • advocacy • adult mental health • sexuality and gender • Peer Support Parents / Carers can ask for support from Re:Minds for advice about their 16-25 year old
Advocates are independent professionals who work with people to help them understand their options, know their rights and say what they want. This helps to make sure that people are involved as much as possible in decisions about their health and care.
An advocate can support someone to: - communicate their views and wishes - understand their rights - understand any processes and decisions they are subject to - understand the options they have - make their own choices - challenge a decision.
Advocacy is a statutory right for eligible people and can be offered for Children and Young People with a special educational need and/or disability; Care Act Advocacy; and Independent Mental Health Advocacy.

My humanistic approach, rooted in Gestalt therapy, focuses on understanding yourself, your emotions, and your relationships, with specialist support available for trauma and PTSD using Rewind Therapy. This service provides talks and tailored menopause and wellbeing awareness training for businesses, community groups, and individuals. The training raises awareness of symptoms, helps reduce stigma, and equips managers and employees with practical tools to support themselves and others. Sessions are interactive, evidence-based, and delivered either face-to-face or online. We also provide supporting toolkits, action plans, and resources to embed ongoing support in the workplace. Includes menopause action plans, health audits, risk assessments, policies and process.
At V.L.A.D. Outreach, we believe that mental health care should be accessible to all, regardless of background or circumstances. We provide compassionate, individually tailored support to each individual’s unique needs. Our services include evidence-based therapies such as person-centred counselling, cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), Gestalt counselling, amongst other BACP approved approaches, alongside peer-mentoring, and psychological assessments and support, all aimed at empowering individuals to manage their mental health and well-being. Everything we provide is free or donation-based, ensuring that cost will never be a barrier to accessing support.

Our highly qualified energy advisers help people reduce their bills, liaise with their utility suppliers, apply for discounts and where possible, access funding for heating measures such as insulation and draught-proofing.
The Mindful Zen delivers mindfulness classes, courses, workshops and retreats to promote balance and inner peace. Our fully qualified Mindfulness Teacher will support you through simple guided meditations, whilst sharing the scientific benefits of mindfulness. Sessions are available online or in person. No previous experience in mindfulness required.

Mix of targeted events for specific groups of students, and larger engagement piece organised by the Student Engagement Team, which is accessible to all students. All aimed at preventative approach to support students with wellbeing to settle into university life and easily access support.
Free wellbeing walks, led by Sustrans, every Thursday, 11am. The walk that lasts about 50 minutes, including a 5-minute break, along Weston Shore to admire the view. Going at a gentle pace (or slightly faster), this walk is designed for people just beginning to use walking as a way to improve their health. We'll stay on pavements and paths and can adjust the route to suit the participants. Some of us stay for refreshments and a chat at the café after the walk. New people should arrive 10 minutes before the start of the session to meet the leader and register.
