Steps to Wellbeing Steps 2 Wellbeing

This Service aims to treat people suffering from mild to moderate anxiety and depression based problems including Generalised Anxiety Disorder (GAD), Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD), health anxiety, Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) and phobias. Service also has an extended service which offers help to people suffering from Long Term Health Conditions (LTHC), which aims to address the disparities in mental health conditions (and knock-on effect on physical health) between the general population and those experiencing long term health conditions. The LTHC offer currently includes chronic-pain (including fibromyalgia), diabetes, respiratory conditions and stroke- however through our core services we can also offer help for anxiety and depression symptoms caused by other LTHCs.

Solent NHS Trust 'Lets talk about it' sexual health service

A sexual health service providing sexual and reproductive health and genito-urinary medicine services - STI testing and treatment, contraception, emergency contraception, pregnancy testing, HIV testing and psychosexual counselling (by GP referral only).

Solent NHS Trust Child and adolescent mental health services (CAMHS)

CAMHS SPA is the access route in to Specialist CAMHS service but the SPA also provides information, resources and contacts for other services supporting low to moderate mental health problems.

Southern Health NHS Foundation Trust Early intervention in psychosis

Specialist service for people aged 14-35 that is based in the Adult Mental Health service. They assess, treat and support young people who may be experiencing a first episode of a psychotic illness and this is done this in the community - either in or near your home.

GPs General Practitioner (GP)

Your doctor (GP) should be your first point of contact for health issues that you can't treat yourself with the help of your local pharmacy, NHS 111 or information on NHS.uk.

MHST's deliver evidence based early interventions for children and young people with mild to moderate mental health problems.

NHS NHS 111 mental health

The NHS 111 service can provide free advice and medical referrals for mental health problems.

Southern Health NHS Foundation Trust Recovery college

The Recovery College takes an educational approach to equip people with knowledge and skills to get on with their lives despite mental illness, courses are open to health professionals, service users, or carers.
